Mildred Ann Corbin

The family will hold a private service.

She was born on May 30, 1939 to the late Rufus Robert Stonestreet and Mary Ashley Stonestreet in Bentonia, Mississippi. Mildred worked for many years as a seamstress at Graduate Supply Factory in downtown Jackson. A devoted Christian, she regularly attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. Mildred had a strong faith and her trust in God made her one of the strongest people in her family - the glue that held everything together, really. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and was an Elvis lover and fan. Mildred was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a beloved sister adored by all of her siblings.

Preceding her in death are father, Rufus Robert Stonestreet; mother, Mary Ashley Stonestreet; husband, Ray Corbin; daughter, Sandra Brown; a brother; and several sisters.

Mildred is survived by her children, Amanda Jensen, Linda Davis, William Mobley, and Bobby Mobley; sisters, Alice Stonestreet and Frances Gomez; and a host of precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
