A Remembrance Gathering will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, 5:00-8:00pm, on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
She was born Saturday, September 10, 1949 in Jackson, a daughter of the late Howard G. Harvey and Eleanor Barrett Harvey.
Nancy worked for more than 30 years at Fannin Mart, joining the staff when it opened, and was known for her bread pudding. She later worked at The Smokehouse. Her hobbies included riding with her husband, Bill, on their motorcycle or two-seater bicycle, boating, and collecting Native American artifacts.
Nancy will best be remembered for her wicked sense of humor. All who knew her were subject to her practical jokes.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bill Black; daughter, Christina King (Dale); son, Danny Black (Christina); sisters, Patsy Maddox and Davida Spencer; brother, Howard “Boy” Harvey; and grandchildren, Samantha King, Dale “Moose” King, III and Daniel Black.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Kaye Black.
