Richard was born Friday, July 18, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, a son of the late John Anthony Rodriguez and Jennie Buelna Rodriguez. He was a member of the Catholic faith and honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He was employed for several years as a spa tech for Family Pools and Spa. His hobbies included riding his VW "trike" and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Robin Lynn Benner Rodriguez; daughter, Jennifer Rodriguez Boyette and husband Marshall; grandchildren, Adelaide and Locryn Boyette; nieces, Sonya Sanchez, Irene Rodriguez, Melinda Gonzalez, and Carmen Montes; nephew, Benny Rodriguez; cousin, Armondo Lagarde; and faithful canine companion, Duke.
