A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon.
She was born on July 26, 1931 to the late Berrie Pickney Marbury and Bessie Irene Allen Marbury in Jackson, Mississippi. Mrs. Wilson was a kind, Christian lady who attended Crossgates United Methodist Church. She was very outgoing and loving, and in return she was loved by anyone who knew her. She was truly a friend to all. In addition, she was an active member of the ladies' club in her subdivision. Mrs. Wilson graduated from Hinds Junior College and would go on to retire from AT&T after working in the engineer department over 30 years. She then began to travel across the United States with her husband, A.K., in their motor home. They enjoyed the experience of camping and seeing new places. They loved going to see the water and visiting New Orleans, especially during Mardi Gras. Mrs. Wilson was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and cherished spending time with them as well as all of her family. In her later years, her greatest joy was caring for her beloved husband.
She is survived by her endearing husband of 45 years, A.K. Wilson; daughter, Patricia Henderson (William); grandchildren, Robbie King (Julie) and Richard Henderson (Destiney); great-grandchildren, Christina King, Austyn Barrell, Allyssa Henderson, and Bailey White; and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mrs. Wilson will be greatly missed.
