Thomas Webster Autrey Jr.

Tommy was born on May 11th, 1940 in Meridian, MS to Annie Lois Robinson-Autrey and Thomas W. Autrey Sr. He graduated from Forest Hill High School, and then obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College. Tommy enlisted and served in the US Marine Corps for 6 years. Tommy married Dorothy (Dot) Lyons on November 1st, 1964, and they were blessed with two sons, Thomas (Trae) W. Autrey III, and Andrew C. Autrey. He taught school, and coached high school football and baseball for 8 years. He moved to a career with Farm Bureau Insurance in many capacities, and retired with Texas Farm Bureau after 20 years of service.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Autrey Sr., and Annie Autrey. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dot Autrey, his son Trae Autrey, daughter-in-law Annett Autrey, granddaughters Elizabeth Nicole and Anna Grace Autrey, his son, Andrew Autrey, daughter-in-law Megan Clayton, sister, Anne Robin Luckett, brother-in-law John Luckett, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation and Memorial Mass will be held at St Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS on Tuesday, April 10th. The visitation is to begin at 10 am, followed by the Memorial Mass at 11 am.
