Visitation will be 2:30-4:00pm, Friday, April 28, 2017, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Memorial services will follow at 4:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Travis was preceded in death by his father, William H. Whitaker, and sister, Lynn Hughes.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Whitaker; sisters, Sue Green, Lydia Medders (Ed), and Michelle Whitaker; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
His love of music was a staple of his life. He worked as a master mechanic before becoming disabled in 2010.
Travis was well loved and will be remembered for his kindness and big heart. His family is comforted in knowing that he gave his heart to Christ at the age of 17.
