Ricky was born on July 1, 1957, in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Mr. Harry Lee Smith and Mrs. Betty Joyce Chaney Smith. When Ricky was not traveling the highways as a truck driver you could find him watching and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels football team. He also loved fishing in his younger years, and riding motorcycles. The thing he liked most was spending time with family and friends being the life of the party. He also loved to be Santa’s helper at company Christmas parties.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Tommy Smith and Kevin Smith; and nephew, Justin Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Sondra Greene (Nathan) and Lauren Bullock; son, Tryce Smith; grandchildren, Brody Bullock, Jaxon Bullock and Easton Greene; and brother, Tony Smith (Tammy).
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Eastside Baptist Church 3494 Patterson Dr, Pearl, Mississippi on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00am.
