

She was born to the late Louis Clarence ("LC") and Eva Stephens on July 24, 1964 in Houston, TX. Lisa graduated from the esteemed Jack Yates High School in 1982 and she went on to attend Texas Southern University. For many years, Lisa worked at MetroLift as a Dispatcher before settling as an Early Childcare Provider. Lisa was truly passionate about the lives and care of children that she encountered over the years.
Lisa embraced every moment with radiance, enthusiasm and love. Her spirit burned brightly in her pursuit of adventure, passion and connection, leaving an indelible mark on all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born into a close-knit family, Lisa always recognized the value of surrounding herself with loved ones. She never took for granted the importance of family and cherished the bonds she formed from an early age. The light of her life illuminated the lives of her Mother, sisters, brothers, sons, nieces and nephews, creating a legacy of love that will continue to shine for generations to come.
Lisa was also a beacon of friendship, attracting people in every sage of her life. Her vivacious personality and warmth created lasting friendships and she relished the joy of shared experiences. Her ability to light up a room with her presence spoke volumes about the woman she was - a woman who celebrated life in the best way.
Throughout her life, Lisa approached her passions with an unwavering sense of zest and determination. Aside from her love of family and friends, Alisia adventured far and wide, embracing every opportunity to travel and explore. She reveled in the beauty of the world, cherishing the memories created from each breathtaking experience of life.
Lisa is predeceased by her father Louis Clarence ("LC") and brother, Darrell Young. Her memory will continue to live on through her sons Christian Blake Stephens and Elijah Alexander Rogers, mother Eva Stephens, sisters Valerie McAfee and Atosha Miller, and brother, Michael Young (Jenny). Her memory will also be cherished by her nieces and nephews, Gerald W McAfee II (Sue), Chassidy McAfee, Toshairra Miller, Alexis Miller, Paul Miller III, Gerald Lionel McAfee and Gia McAfee. And we cannot forget Lisa's Shih Tzu, Nikey.
