Albert "Keek" Rudd

Born November 25, 1945 in Peoria, he was the son of John and Betty (Scott) Rudd. He married Susan Bennett on February 22, 1969 in Canton.

Surviving are his wife, Susan, of Pekin; one sister, Diana (Doug) Luman of Greenville, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janet Fey.

A 1963 graduate of Timber Township High School in Glasford, Al also graduated from the University of Illinois Springfield a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

He was a United States Army veteran.

Al was retired from Caterpillar, Inc. where he was a Buyer.

An avid golfer, Al was a longtime member of Pekin Country Club, where he was a part of the noon group. He also was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.

His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek and Rev. Scott Baker will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the service in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin, where military rites will be accorded.
