Born March 15, 1951 in Torreon, Mexico to Ascencion and Esparanza (Avina) Grijalva, she married Charles Hill on November 4, 2000 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, John (Connie) Sutherland of Pekin; one daughter, Brenda Hill of Pekin; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Bertha of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jose Luis Grijalva.
Alicia was a housekeeper for Pekin Hospital for 13 years, retiring in 2016.
She loved spending time with her family, playing with her two dogs, Lucy and Sugar and taking walks at the park.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There are no services at this time.
