

Born on October 6, 1938 in Pekin, she was a daughter of Albino and Mary (Alessi) Maddalozzo.
Surviving are one son, Mark (Cindy Trump) Phillips of Peru; two daughters, Teresa (Terry) Miller of Manito and Julie (Rick) Cook of Pekin; five grandchildren, Dustin (Sami) Cook, Derek (Dani Brown) Cook, Melissa (Wes) Eertmoed, Jill (Jake) Flynn and Terry (Madison) Miller; one brother, Roger (Margaret) Maddalozzo of Louisville, Kentucky; one nephew, Michael Maddalozzo (Julie) and one niece, Sarah (Davin) Blumenstock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene (Jeannie) Maddalozzo and one niece, Susan.
Anna was a devoted stay-at-home mom until her children were grown. She later worked in customer service and retired from Comcast in Peoria.
Her life was truly family centered. She was a remarkable cook, often honoring her Italian roots through her culinary skills. Anna was loved by everyone; no one was a stranger to her. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her love for family and cooking, Anna was a fan of Bradley basketball, enjoying many years as a season ticket holder. She also had a deep love for animals. She is gone from this earth but will never be forgotten.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Her private service will be held at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
