Anne Lynn Gray

Born November 19, 1944 in Jefferson, New York to Howard Hurley and Irene Veronica (Comerford) Moore, Sr. She married Eugene Francis Gray on March 26, 1994 in Delavan. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ronald Keith Taylor of Delavan; one daughter, Lauralee (Jeff) Pfeiffer of Pekin; two step-daughters, Tina (George) Smith of Peoria and Malinda Gray of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Ronald, Heather, Amy, Joe and Matt; ten great-grandchildren, Logan, Brandon, Jaelee, Ashley, Kyra, Gage, Serenity, Kya, George and Lela; two sisters, Ruth Hilton of Marion and Randa Crayton of Freeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one step-daughter, Mary Clark and one brother, Howard Hurley “Chip” Moore, Jr.

Anne was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

A homemaker, Anne enjoyed gardening, knitting, traveling and was an avid dirt track racing and NASCAR fan, especially Dale, Jr. Her grandchildren were most important to her.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. James C. McClarey will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.
