

Annie was born June 19, 1950 in Pekinto Dean and Blanche (Bell) Powell. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Harold M.Stockert. She married JimFleehartyon November 30, 2007 in Pekin. He survives.She is also survived by V. David Block, previous husband and father of their three children.
Anniealsoleaves behind her mother, BlancheStockertof Pekin; two daughters, Annessa (Jack) Parisi of Champaign andKyanne(JD Crawford) Block of Pekin; one son, Martin (Jessica) Block of Pekin;five grandchildren, Colton and Braxton Parisi, Kailee Block, Adrianna Alexander andJamiegeneFleeharty; one sister, Judy (Dave) Dunn of Pekin and her twin brother, Dannie (Luann) Powell of Pekinwho will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father;one sister, Michelle R.Epkins, and one-stepson, CaseyFleeharty.
Annie was member of Pekin Women of the Moose Chapter 673 in Pekin and former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1869 Ladies Auxilary.
She was in the educational field for 30 years teaching pre-school at the Salvation Army, Pekin Family Education Center and YWCA. She also operated a home daycare center and worked at Big Lots in Pekin for 21 years, retiring in 2015.
As aloving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Annie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She loved life and was always laughing, joking, smiling,and thinking of others even in her darkest hours.
Sheenjoyed traveling with her family to Culebra, Puerto Rico,New York and Florida or wherever her grandsons sporting events took them.She also enjoyed cheering on the Fighting Illini, Chicago Bears, andtheSt. LouisCardinals.On the weekends you would usually find her and Jim out on the bike with friends.Annie was anavidanimal lover, never being without at least one dog and cat at all times and never turned away a stray.
