Thinking of you all - we had some wonderful memories over the years-keeping you in my prayers

How it sadden's me to see another childhood schoolmate & friend gone. Your family is so rare, in that although it was a large family the closeness you all shared is priceless. I had the honor of being your mom's nurse back in the early 80's when she was in Neuro ICU at OSF for tests, and I was so pleased to be able to meet some of the family again. We find it so difficult to give up another loved one to God's great kingdom, yet we do with graciousness because we know the day will come when we will reunite. Byron was a rare man, he was good and kind, with the greatest love for his family. Know that your in my prayers for strength in the difficult days ahead. My deepest condolences. Beverly Meinders-Todd (I went to school with Byron, Jerry, Joyce, & Linda & Lyle. I lived just over the hill on Wesley Road, we were a "gang" of 8 kids.)   

Mary and family, you have our heart felt condolences on the loss of your husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family during the sad days that are sure to follow. May God grant you some peace and comfort. May Byron Rest In Peace.

Although I did not know your loved one personally, I am truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in Gods promise found at Revelation 21:4- "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more..."

We will miss Byron's smile and sunny personality.  Our condolences to his family.

Mary and family,  so sorry to learn of Byron's death.  He was such a fun and nice person and enjoyed working on the reunions with him. I will be out of state over Thanksgiving and may not be home for the visitation/funeral so please know you have my deepest sympathy and love.

Byron was one of the good guys. He, always, had a tale, hug and smile to give to me. I will miss him. To Mary and family ~ prayers and hugs for you.

I have great memories of Uncle Byron from my childhood.  He was always happy and smiling.  His big hug always made me feel loved.  My favorite memories are of the family vacation we took to Florida when I was young.  I remember spending time at the beach with him and following him around Disney World. He was a very giving man and loved everyone.  He will be greatly missed by all. All my love to Aunt Mary, Lisa and Jim.

I will always have great memories of all the fish fries growing up at Byron and Mary's house! Lots of great food and many laughs! No matter where I saw Byron I always got a Big hug and a smile!! Can't leave out all the get togethers at Davis Brothers when Lyle and Nancy came home! My heart goes out to Mary and Lisa and Jimmy and family! Love you guys!

Thoughts and prayers are with you at his time. Byron was a good hearted person. He and Walt were
hard to keep apart. Where one was, the other would soon be. He always had a smile and a wave when he passed through the Sheriffs office lobby on his way to do another chore. He will be missed by all who have the opportunity to know him even if it was on a casual level.     

I was so surprised to see this notice in the Peoria Journal Star website.  I played basketball with Byron and Jerry in the mid 60's.  Byron was always a good competitor and good natured person.  He was well liked by the whole team.  I have looked for him several times when eating pizza at Larry's Driftwood in Creve Coeur. I used to see him there in the 70's, where I last saw him.  My condolences go out to the whole family.  I am currently in Florida and will miss the opportunity to see the family.  Would love to hear from Jerry.  I still live in East Peoria.

My thoughts and prayers are with Byron's family at this difficult time.  Byron was a good hearted guy.  Go Cardinals!!  Rest in Peace Byron.  



I'll still be looking over the balcony railing and saying hello every morning in my heart.  Rest in peace, Byron.  You are loved and missed.

Mary and family---I am so sorry to hear this. I have known Byron since I was in second grade and his mother and sisters watched my brother and I when we live a few doors down from him. I always enjoyed seeing him. Sending prayers.

I will miss uncle Byron, and remember all the fun times we had at the house with our family.  He always had a smile on his face and treated me like a son.  He was a great man, husband, father, and most of all...a great uncle to me.  My heart goes out to Aunt Mary, Lisa, and Jimmy for their loss.

Dear Adcocks,
I am sorry for your loss. Even though I did not your father/grandfather, I know he was a great man from looking at the lives of his children and grandchildren.
