Carla Ann Houle

She was born February 2, 1969 in Pekin to Paul and Caron (Watson) Carlock. Her parents survive.

Also surviving are her two sons, David Houle and Paul Houle, both of Pekin; one sister, Jenny (Shane) Frampton of Pekin; one niece, Olivia Frampton and one nephew, Garrett Frampton.

She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Molly Houle and one brother, Mike Carlock.

For many years Carla had worked in healthcare. She last worked as an Office Manager in the hospital clinic of OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria.

Carla enjoyed doing arts and crafts, puzzles, reading, and bowling.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Charles “Chuck” Grogan will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
