Born October 12, 1938 in Pekin to Irving and Dorothy (Johnson) Henricks, she married Dan Carlson on November 14, 1986 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Patti (Greg) Zenaty and Linda (Tommy) Trocke, both of Wauconda, Janet (Scott) Jackson of Mapleton and Diana (Brock) Winkler of Peoria; two sons, Steve Graves of Pekin and Dennis Graves of Aurora; ten grandchildren; and three brothers, Butch (Darla) Henricks of Tremont, Terry (Janet) Henricks and Kenny Henricks, both of Pekin.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Gloria Sue; one sister, Sharon Skaggs; and one brother, Ronnie Henricks.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1869 Auxiliary in Pekin. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and gardening.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Pekin Eagles Lodge. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
