

Born November 25, 1938 in Princeville to Walter and Mae (Boitnott) Belcner, she married Charles Wall on December 29, 1956 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Debra (Clifton) Rynearson, Linda (Paul) Leason and Marty (Tim) Woodley, all of Glasford; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and she was anxiously awaiting another in July; one brother, Jack (Mary Jane) Belcner of Leesburg, GA; two sisters, Doris (Terry) Ragon and Peggy Edwards of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; two brothers and one son, David Wall on November 23, 2005.
Carol had worked for Belwood Nursing Home in Peoria for 18 years, retiring in 1994. She later was a home health caregiver until 2005.
She was of the Baptist faith.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Carol loved attending her grandkids ball games and she took great pride and joy in her family and grandkids. She also loved Santa Claus figurines, going to garage sales, knitting and crocheting.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Paul Cook will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton.
