Mom as we knew little the morning God was going to call your name, we did know we loved you dearly..In death we do the same as you will always remain deep in our thoughts.I have to say even though it broke our hearts to lose you, that you did not go alone as part of us left with you that day..Mom the day God called you home you left us all peaceful memories that i will never forget..The great love you left us will always remain our guide and although we can not see you , we know you will always be by our side...We all will miss you very much as the chain has broke and nothing seems the same...I do know that as God calls each of our names the chain will link back together and become one...I just want you to know i miss and love you so much and this is so hard to get through, but having you memories and spirit makes me feel a little stronger..
 
I love you so much and am so happy your in a place that's full of joy and happiness which you deserve..I can't wait to see you once again and rejoice in heaven together...

I'm so sorry to hear Carolyn's passing. I worked with her at Mr. K's. We would talk for hours on the phone. She was a wonderful person and loved her family. I know she will be greatly missed.

Mom, I love you so much & will miss you deeply for the rest of my life. I wish I would have told you many more times that your the best mom in the world, because that is what you are. A truely wonderful woman, who cares about everyone else and was always there for everyone.  I wish you were still here with us, but Im glad your not suffering anymore. I love you with all my heart!

Its so hard to see your name and picture on here. It doesnt feel real. I love you Aunt Carol, and promise to be there for your family whenever they need me. Thanks for being such a wonderful Aunt, who was ALWAYS there for me. My wedding you were there, and took awesome pictures, every child I have had, you have been there, If you couldnt be there, like when I was in Missouri, you sent something to let me know you were thinking of me. I love you and will miss you.

Carolyn, don't really know what to say other than you were the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for. No one cared about my love for the Steelers more than you did. Every year, I knew you were thinking of something even better than the last, and you always came through. I'm really going to miss that alot. Thank you for everything these last 25 years. I know I was loved like your own kid, but I hope you know the love I felt back. I'm really going to miss ya Carolyn. RIP, I love you!

A mother's love cannot be measured by a quantifiable definition, but instead is felt deep within your soul because it is from her soul. I know you loved me mom and I hope you know how much I love you and how much I will miss you every day. 

Having found Carolyn on facebook I have enjoyed our chats so much. I will miss our chats very much. We had gone to school togeather and was looking forward to seeing her when I came up for the reunion. she was such a support for me when I was dealing with my husband's cancer. Words can't express the way i feel at the loss of such a wonderful person that made such an everlasting impact on my life. It doesn't seem fair, and it all happened so sudden, which devastated the whole family. I still refuse to believe it wasn't your time. you were such a caring and loving person with so much life in you. I don't believe that it was anywhere near your time. But apparently, God needed you in heaven with him. No more pain, brand new knees, and an unlimited amount of beautiful pictures is the life that you're living now eternally. I will never forget all of the birthday parties, all of the baseball games, all of the school events, all of the times you tried sneaking me money, just like you did with Nic. I will never forget all of the little things you did for me, just to show that you cared. Im going to miss spending time with such an incredible person. But I hope you know that until it is my time, i will always be Gram's mikey man. RIP Gram, i will never be able to express how much you will always mean to me and how much i love you. until we meet again, you will be greatly missed by so many that cared for you. I LOVE YOU. <3

We were so sorry to hear of Carolyns passing.  I was a cousin to her, but sorry to say I didn't know her very well.  We haven't been social since we were kids.  The family used to come over to visit us on Sundays for chicken dinners.  We just grew apart when we got older.  All of us went in different directions.  It is sad that that happens, but in this age that happens quite a bit.  All of us are too busy.  We want the family to know that we are praying for them in this sad time.  Just know that it does get better with time.  Time heals all.  

I enjoyed meeting Caroline through David at our class reunions.  My prayers and sympathy go out to David and to Caroline's family and friends.

How SAD for all of us to let go of Carolyn!  I know she was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother,aunt,cousin,and friend and we will miss her greatly! Carolyn is my sister in law but in my heart, she's my sister, I've known her all my life. She was always there for me, never too busy to talk on the phone for hours listening and encouraging me in whatever drama I was going through, she always seemed to understand when others didn't, her gift of compassion and empathy were immense. She loved her family and was proud of each and every one of them. She was always the first to call or visit when someone was sick or even just hurting...she has left us a wonderful legacy of love and I see all of those wonderful attributes in all her children and grandchildren. I know we all have regrets, I wish I would have spent more time with her but I choose to focus on the blessing she was in my life and all the good times we had...I am grateful for the time we had and the gift of Carolyn...RIP my sister, until we meet again <3

Angie, I never met your mother and only met you a couple times at your work when my daughter, Cindy Tucker, introduced us. I'm so sorry you lost your mother. May God comfort you with His peace and strengthen you in this time of sorrow. Know that your mom's soul is still living, but in the presence of her Lord now, and waits for your reunion one day.

My deepest condolences to the family of such a wonderful person. She was always smiling and so proud of her children, then the grandchildren, and the great grandkids. There is a special place in heaven for her. She is singing in the angel band. Treasure your memories and be there for one another. Know that your friends do care.

From Nic to Mom -
Mom, the words above capture a lot, but they can never fully cover the depth of my feelings of grief and loss.  You mean the world to me Mom and it's so hard to go on, I feel lost and alone, even though I know you're home.
  
I opened your old house's front door today mom, and almost cracked a smile as I thought you might be home.  Then all the sudden it hit me with great force, that mom, you weren't there and quickly my smile went for the worst.   

I began to cry and felt so alone, knowing that you'd never be home.  Even so, I walked into my old room, to open a drawer and find a keychain.  This was a simple gift from mom to I, from many years ago when I was a young.  

It had a simple enscription that warmed my heart and filled my eyes with tears, happy tears, it simply said this:  "Son, don't drive faster than your guardian angel can fly. -Mom"  

It let me know that you're still here, in spirit yes, but very much still here right by me, leaning against my door.  It was such a comfort and joy to know, that my mother is still watching over me from her hilltop across the shore.  

I love you so much mom, and I will never forget, all the love you gave us and still give us yet.  You are simply amazing mom, and I know you'll always be around.  

I love to think that you'll be right there for my graduation, for James' next birthday, and all the rest.  I can't wait to show you these memories mom, I want to make you proud.  I love you soo much mom and will see you again when it's my time to take a long rest. 

I will never forget the time I spent with my dear Aunt Carolyn.  She meant the world to me and was a major influence in my life, starting in childhood all the way up through my adult years.  Her number one priority was her family, which is apparent in their show of love over the last few difficult weeks.  I cherish the long talks we had as we sat by Grandma Campbell's side in her final days.  As I sit in shock over the news of Aunt Carolyn's passing still a few days later, I keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.  

Aunt Carolyn, I know you're up there looking over us all with a camera in one hand and a curling iron in the other.  :)

I was looking through the obituaries today and I came across your name. I sat here and I remembered all the good times we had when Nic and I was in school together, all the trips we went on, the St Louis Zoo, JROTC Trips ect. and enjoyed each others company. You taught me a lot in the short period I came around. Now you are a Angel in the Heavens above. May the Lord be with your family at this time of loss and for them to know you are home and someday they will join you and they should be happy that you no longer suffer.   

My heart goes out to the Robertson family. I have so many fond memories of Carol. 

Honey,  I miss you so much even though I know you are in heaven with our LORD.  I already find myself missing so much all the little things you did for me, always being there and always loving.  I couldn't have asked for a better help mate.  I thank my LORD that he gave me 44 years with you.  See you soon my love.
