

Born April 4, 1937 in Franklin to Charles Wesley and Eva Louise (Lash) Flynn, he married Evelyn Lucille Boyer on October 11, 1958 at Pekin Bible Church. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Tamra (Karl) Martin of O’Fallon, Missouri, her children, Khristopher Martin and Kraig (Bonnie) Martin, and her grandchildren, Kapraun and Kayla; one son, Charles (Tracie) Flynn, II of Victoria, his children, Charles W. (Logan) Flynn, III, Cathy Flynn, Tad (Liz) Epkins, and T.J. (Caitlan) Epkins; two sisters, Norma (Larry) Watson of Pekin and Patricia (Jim) O’Brien of Bartonville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He also leaves behind two special friends, Rick Meinders and John Frame.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert “Bob” Flynn; and two infant sisters, Margaret Louise Flynn and Carolyn June Flynn.
Chuck worked at the American Distilling Company in Pekin for 15 years. He later worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 35 years, retiring in June of 2007 as a material specialist at the Rubber Processing Plant on Washington Street in Peoria.
He was member of the Buffalo Bulls Muzzleloaders Club in Canton.
Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was a Chicago Bears fan.
His graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Chaplain Chuck Wilcox will officiate.
