

Born August 15, 1980 to Charles Joseph and Norma Jean (Goodwin) Hill, Sr., he married Glenda Duncan on August 13, 2004 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Norma Jean Goodwin of Pekin; his father, Charles (Alecia) Hill, Sr. of San Jose; two daughters, Hannah Alise Hill and Gabrielle Elise Hill, both of Pekin; two sons, Conlin Charles Joseph Hill and Evan Lee Wade Hill, both of Green Valley; two step-sons, Seth O’Rion Duncan and Dakota Shane Duncan, both of Pekin; one sister, Brenda Hill of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Sue Hill and maternal grandmother, Mary McDonald Goodwin.
Charlie worked as an arborist for B & W Tree Service in Delavan for the last year. He previously worked for Durdle Tree Service in Peoria.
A devoted husband and father, Charlie was a family man never missing any of his kid’s activities and enjoyed reading to his girls.
Charlie loved the outdoors, especially fishing with his kids.
He had attended the former First Assembly of God Church in Pekin.
His visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. There will be no funeral. Inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray final expenses, in care of the funeral home, 500 North 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
