He was born October 1, 1948 in Pekin to Harold and Mildred (Miller) Carpentier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and five brothers.
Surviving are one son, James Carpentier of Kentucky; two daughters, Annajohn Carpentier and Carolinn Carpentier, both of Peoria; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, June Carpentier of Pekin; three brothers, Bob (Betty) Carpentier of Dunfermline, Bill (Dorothy) Carpentier of Cullman, Alabama and Thomas Carpentier of Peoria; and one niece, Bridget Allen. He also leaves behind his special friend, Elizabeth “Ann” Robards of Pekin.
Ike worked as an independent paint contractor for over 25 years.
He loved to watch WWE wrestling and watching movies. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
