Colleen Gale Putney

Born February 28, 1955 in Peoria to Glenn and Loveta (Wriedt) Ogden, she married William “Bill” Putney on November 29, 1975 in Peoria.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years; one daughter, Natalie Putney of Pekin; one granddaughter, Kensington Putney of Pekin; one brother, Mitchell (Molly) Ogden of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and two nephews, Joseph and David Ogden, both of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Colleen and her husband, Bill owned and operated BCN Construction Solution in Trivoli for 30-plus years.

She was a crafty person, who loved building things, gardening, working in her yard and horseback riding.

Colleen was a member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton.

Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Eastside Bible Church in Morton. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
