Dale B Hangartner

Born January 2, 1955 in Morton to Robert James and Jeri Marie (Hari) Hangartner, he married Terry Lotts on January 14, 1984.  She preceded him in death.  He also was preceded in death by his brother, Erik Hangartner.

Surviving are his parents of Sarasota, Florida; two daughters, Tomiko Hangartner, 27, and Savoy Hangartner, 18, both of Morton; one grandson, Steven M.J. Wiggins; one brother, Gary Hangartner of Kent, Ohio; and one sister, Lisa (Ronald) Aung-Din of Sarasota, Florida.

Dale died of a heart attack due to heart disease.  He had no prior illness that he or the family was aware of.  Dale worked as a mechanic for many years; he was employed by We Care Inc. in Morton as a mechanic.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

We love you Daddy and we’ll always miss you.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Last Harvest Ministries, 223 Leadley Ave. East Peoria, IL 61611.  Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
