Daniel Edward Heger

Born April 19, 1962 to William Frances and Mary Josephine (Rakestraw) Heger, he married Snooky Eclarinal on February 17, 1999 at Hanford, California. She survives.

Also surviving are three stepchildren, Michael (Katherine) Eclarinal of Tennessee, Courtney Phillips of Washington and James Phillips of Peoria; three grandchildren; one brother, Gene (Debra) Heger of Florida and Katherine (Doug) McCaullay of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Scott Heger and one sister, Karen Heger.

Dan proudly served in the United States Navy for more than 11 years.

He worked for Morton Industries for seven years and last worked for Big R in Washington as a small engine technician.

Dan loved fixing things and listening to rock-n-roll. He also enjoyed watching Goldrush because of the character, Parker.

He was a fan of NASCAR and followed Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jeff Gordon.

He was of the Christian faith.

No services or visitation are planned. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
