He was born February 2, 1947 in Pekin to Harold and Jean (Eichleberger) Morris. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his mother; one son, Jeremy (Melissa) Morris of Delavan; one daughter, Danielle Morris of Pekin; 12 grandchildren, Marcy, Charlie, Brody, Bailey, Taylor, Brianna, Brayden, Trevor, Rylie, Carly, Charlotte and Paisley and two sisters, Becky (Gary) Piro of Pekin and Peggy Bitting of Matoon.
Danny was a veteran of the United States Army.
He worked for 30 plus years as a trucker, driving cross country on various routes. He later owned and operated Morris Painting and Drywall in Pekin, where he worked for 22 years before retiring in 2010.
Danny enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was of Baptist faith.
Arrangements by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be held at a 2:30 p.m on Thursday, May 26th at War Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin.
