He was born August 3, 1958 in Peoria to Richard and Judith (Gass) Hibbert. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are one son, John (Deanna) Hibbert of Spanish Fort, Alabama; two grandsons, Sullivan Hibbert and Channing Hibbert, both of Spanish Fort, Alabama; three sisters, Joyce (Fred) Barlow of Hanna City, Janet Atkins of Summon and Bonnie Hibbert of Pekin and one brother, Doug Hibbert of Mapleton.
Dave owned and operated Specialized Transport in East Peoria for 20-plus years before retiring in 2018.
A hard working and laid back person, Dave enjoyed riding motorcycles.
His graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at Kingston Mines Cemetery. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
