

He was born June 27, 1962 in Peoria to Clarence and Beverly (Whitby) Froman, Sr. He married Peggy L. Dillingham in 1983. He then married Tammi Waldrop in 1991. He later married Valerie Chance in 1993.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle (Jason) Villarreal of Creve Coeur; his son, Michael Froman of Peoria; eight grandchildren; one sister, Debbra (Rod) Froman of Peoria; three brothers, Gary (Nikki) Froman, Randy (Patti) Froman, and Clarence (Terry) Froman, Jr., all of Peoria; and cousin, Tim Whitby of Tennessee. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Logan; and twin sisters.
David had worked for Hawkeye Rubber in Peoria until it closed down. He later worked as a roofer in the area for over 10 years. He did odd jobs for Rick Whitby and Harry Canterbury, and last worked for Alcast Foundry in Peoria.
David was cared for by many family members including Michelle Villarreal, Michael Froman, Debbra Froman and Gregory Froman. They made a promise to care for him from the beginning of his illness until the end, and they were able to keep that promise to him. The family would also like to thank their hospice nurse, Lori and nurse Betty for their exceptional care.
A visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Following the visitation, the family invites the friends to come as they are and share a drink with them at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Peoria Aerie #265 at 1704 South East Lane Peoria, IL 61605. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
