

Born July 1, 1948 in Buckley, Michigan to Rev. Ralph Edwin and Goldie “Golda” (Snook) Hart, he married Karen Elaine Holeman on February 7, 1976 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are five children, David Brent Hart, Regina (David) Stoehr, Stacey Hall, Robert “Buck” (Christina) Hart and Kelly (Matthew) Nickles, all of Pekin; twelve grandchildren, Chaise (Amanda) Stoehr, Brittany Elkins, Cory (Tifani) Buck, Cody Buck, Kassandra “Kacie” (Chad) Parry, Jacob Zabukovec, Cole Hall, Melina Hall, BreyAnne Nickles, KaitLynne Nickles, Sean Hart and Emily Hart; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Carson of Pekin and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Connor Stoehr and two sisters, Darlene G. Curry and Donna J. Garrison.
He was a United States Army veteran and had served with the 101st Airborne Division.
Dave retired as a supervisor from Central Illinois Dock Company in Creve Coeur, where he worked for many years. In retirement Dave worked part-time as a driver for Rockford Rigging in Morton.
He was an avid woodworker and liked to shoot trap and guns. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Dave was a member of the North Pekin Church of the Nazarene.
Per his wishes, no visitation or funeral services are planned. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
