EMDEN ~ Dean Lowell Lowe, III, 29, of 333 Lincoln St., died at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008 as a result of a motorcycle/truck accident at the intersection of 500 Ave. and IL Rt. 136 in Prairie Township in rural Logan County. Born March 20, 1979 in Pekin to Dean L. and Dorothy (Hoerr) Lowe, Jr., he married Michelle Cockrell Harshman on June 19, 2004 in Pekin. Surviving are his wife; his father of Pekin; 3 sons, Beau Harshman, Tyler Harshman, and Dean L. Lowe, IV all at home; 1 daughter Kelsey Lowe at home; and 1 sister, Shannon (Robert) Rotherham of Pekin. Dean was presently employed by Hanna Steel Corporation and by Wiseman Concrete Company, both of Pekin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Extreme sports. Dean was a devoted and loving husband and father. His funeral will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2008 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Rev. Casey Tygrett will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
