My deepest sympathies. Denny is part of some of the best memories of my early childhood: popcorn balls at Halloween, running across the street when he and that little white poodle came outside...

I did not see denny and kathy often, but when I did the friendship came forth as though we spent time together often.smiles and laughter always.He will be missed by all, but he will be looking down watching over Kathy and family as he always did.the worls was a better place for his presence here on earth.God bless

My sincerest condolences to both Denny's immediate family and his extended family on Denny's passing.  I had the opportunity to work with Denny during some very challenging times at Cat, and I can truthfully say that his engaging smile, optimism and unbridled enthusiasm were all very contagious.  He will be missed greatly.  My prayers are with you.

I met Denny at Caterpillar and liked him instantly. A big smile was always his greeting. Denny was one of those rare people liked by everyone. He enjoyed his job and was good at. Of course... it involved meeting people. He was always kind and very helpful. He was a good person and a good friend. My wife Judy and I had many good times with Denny and Kathy. We enjoyed going out for dinner, meeting at each other's houses and meeting at the Tremont Turkey Festival. We will sincerely miss him. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Kathy and the rest of his family.

My most sincere sympothy goes out to the entire Hasty family.  Denny was always positive, honest and optimistic.  He overcame many obsticals that life challenged him with, yet he always overcame.  Denny will always be remembered as a giant of man whose big smile could could melt an iceberg.
He was a good person and friend, and will be missed by all of those who had the pleasure to know him. 



Denny's legacy lives on in the actions of those he touched.  A brother, husband, father, grand father, and most wonderful human being he helped us all enjoy life and at the same time taught us the value of friends.  He never met a stranger and welcomed all with a smile, thank you for sharing Denny with us.

Denny worked with me and for me a number of years in Supplier Quality at Morton. Denny was committed to doing his work well and was always most helpful to others in getting things done.  Denny's sincerity, sensitivity and humor were his hallmarks others will always remember him by. I'm grateful for having known him and shared several years of my work life with him.

Denny touch my life at the Delavan Facility and at Morton.  He was fun to work with, but we always got the work done.  He had this thing about being the No. 1 supervisor, he racked right up there with the best.

I am so sorry to hear about Denny. Such a great loss. I will remember the big bold smile Denny would greet co-workers with each day. He loved to talk about his family, he was so proud of all of you.

I owe my quality career to Denny. When he was off on a medical leave I was asked to fill in for him. When he returned I stayed and continued to learn from him. He was always willing to help no matter how many times you asked the same question. The most fun I had was traveling with Denny. He did not like to fly which opened the door for many funny situations. Of course I would never mention to him about a flat tire,a door falling off or emergency landings. Many times he would say " I'm not getting back on that plane". We always did and we always had fun. I'll always have those memories of Denny.

I loved working with Denny!  He was always cheery, and he had good advise and would share it generously.  Denny worked hard -- he enjoyed his work and was proud of it.  Denny taught me a lot about the Morton parts business and about facing life bravely.
