Dennis was a very special person. He will be missed. I am sorry I could not be there. I will keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers. Should anyone need to talk please call me at 417-208-2019. Again I am so sorry that I could not be there. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers.

As I was growing up, my father was one of those hard working fathers that always had to fix things. It was not the money that drove him to work so hard, it was the drive to see how things work or the question of what exactly is the part that failed and how can I make it better. He has been known to take something brand new apart just to see how it works. I know this because somehow I ended up with the same drive. I remember he found time to help me make a cake for some competition. It could not be a simple cake: no, not for me, I was going to win the cake competition. So out came the wires for molding, the electrical wires for wiring a light and many other things, you get my point. In the end we ended up with a 3D Rudolph cake with a lighted nose that lit up the whole room.
 I cannot say he was a very strict father but he would manage to know when you were doing wrong. I managed to make the exact mistakes that he attempted to steer me from and paid the price he told me I would but he never gave up. He was a man that would give you the knowledge that he had but let you have your free will to make your own decision and I truly never heard the words I told you so.  To his friends he was a very kind person and was always ready to help. He always had a solution to every problem and had his ways of making things simple. He never asked anybody for help but was a helper to many. He never wanted to be acknowledged for anything he did. When he saw a need he simply helped.

He showed strength until the end and still had some enlightening words for us. Lets just remember everything that my father shared with us. And lets be happy that he has finally gone home to our creator.

I not only lost my older brother,I lost my best friend.Dent,you will be missed.Deeply.

I will always remember my brother with a smile. He was the true jokester of the family, but later, after our mother passed away, he assumed her role as the heart of our family. He was the glue that held us together. I carry his memory
lovingly in my heart. No one can truly die
as long as he is remembered. 

To the Walters family,

I am sorry to hear about Dennis. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I pray their is peace among you as you deal with this huge loss. We will all miss him. I hope you can remember the good times you had with Dennis during these difficult times.
