Donna Elaine Green

Born May 5, 1950 in Pekin to Lawrence L. and Wilma (Russell) Fischer, she married Frank Herbert Green, III on November 17, 1973 in Manito. He died September 7, 2011 in Manito. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one stepson, Frank H. Green, IV; six brothers, Kenneth Fischer, Russell Fischer, Ronnie Fischer, Larry Fischer, Richard Fischer and Jackie Fischer and two sisters, Darlene Phillips and Doris Martin.

Surviving are one son, Richard (Shannon) Green of Manito; one daughter, Kelly (Todd) Leadley of Missouri City, Texas; one stepson, Todd (Lisa) Green of Evansville; one stepdaughter, Moncie VanDyke of Green Valley; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Robert (Kathy) Fischer of Pensacola, Florida and four sisters, Barbara Fobar of Pekin, Clara (Jim) Batterton of Marquette Heights, Phyllis Rowden of Pekin and Sandra Friedrich of Green Valley.

She was a 1968 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

Donna had worked as a CNA for Pekin Hospital, for Mason County Health Department Homecare and Burkland Distributors. She also had worked for Enviro-Safe Refrigerants in Pekin.

She enjoyed making crafts. She also enjoyed going on family road trips and getting together with her sisters to play cards. She most of all enjoyed being with her grandkids.

She attended Pekin Bible Church.

Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. Jim Batterton, her brother-in-law will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
