Doris J. Roberts

She was born April 21, 1937 in Chaffee, Missouri to Oshil and Mildred (Young) Roberts. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two aunts, Edith (Jerry) Grojean and Audrey (Millard) Mansel.

Surviving are her cousins, Jeff Baker of Pekin and his son Brandon (Sarah) Baker, Sandy Gore, Cindy Pegueros, Terri Baker, Steve Sadler and Brian Sadler.

Doris worked for many years for Methodist Hospital cleaning and caring for the facility.

She enjoyed watching professional wrestling and collecting cow décor. She loved talking about her family history and sharing stories about all the dates and people she could remember.

She lived the UAW Center in Pekin for over 15 years. She will be remembered for her kindness, hospitality and her annual Christmas parties.

Doris was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in North Pekin.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, Missouri. There will be no services at this time.
