Eileen Harmon

Born on Mar. 28, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho she was the daughter of Melvin & Bernice (Barnes) Robinson who have preceded her in death. Eileen was also preceded in death by her son Jason Harmon.

Eileen graduated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls in 1961 prior to studying at the Latter-Day Saints Junior College of Business in Salt Lake City, Utah. She then worked as a Dental Assistant and was married on June 1, 1964. Eileen spent many wonderful days outside doing what she enjoyed most, gardening all varieties of flowering and non-flowering plants.

Surviving are two sons, Robert (Lori) Harmon of Rushville and Daniel (Jennifer) Harmon of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; grandchildren, Kaylee Harmon, Hannah Harmon, Samuel Harmon, Jacob Harmon, Timothy Harmon, Thomas Harmon, and Holly Volovitz; brothers, Steven Robinson and Wayne Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Bob Harmon.

Her visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory, 500 N. 4th in Pekin, with a memorial service immediately following. The Rev. Judy Steger Kennedy will officiate. An inurnment ceremony will then take place at Prairie Haven Cemetery, 200 S. Veterans Drive in Pekin.
