Evelyn Louise Caruso

Manito – Evelyn Louise Caruso 81, of Manito was born June 27, 1940, to Bill Caruso and Arla (Fries) Webster, at UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria and passed away at 10:21 PM Sunday, January 9, 2022 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Swanson of Manito, and Victor (Stacy) Swanson of Simi Valley, CA, first husband David Nels Swanson, two grandchildren, Vincent (Jennifer) Swanson of Peoria, Natasha Swanson of Portland, OR, and one great granddaughter, Edith Swanson of Peoria.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and two beloved brothers, Ronald, and Mike Caruso.

Evelyn later spent many years in California where she worked in real estate for over 30 years and married Frank Giambalvo. They later divorced but remained very close friends.

Evelyn moved back home to Central Illinois where she loved attending church, reading her bible, going out to eat, getting her nails done, and playing with her dog, Angel.

Evelyn was a member of the Christian Assembly Church in Peoria and the Manito Southern Baptist Church.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

Her memorial Service will be held at Manito Southern Baptist Church and be officiated by Pastor Terry Goode.
