

Born July 10, 1916 in Danvers to Albert and Alma (Pershall) Hoeft, she married Harold "Bud" Loch on December 1, 1937 in Bloomington. He died April 20, 1972. She later married Paul Edman on January 9, 1982 in Morton. He died July 20, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Andrew Loch; four brothers and one sister.
Surviving are her children, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Jeremiah (Kay) Loch of Sycamore, Janet (Jerald) Coots of Morton and Jerel Loch of California; one step-daughter, Jean (John) Ellis of Indianapolis; one step-son, Clark (Betty) Edman of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Tressa (Jeff) Schumacher, Troy (Robin) Eidson, Angie (Bret) Markum, Chris (Dani) Loch and Dr. Eli (Dr. Jennifer) Loch and four great-grandchildren.She formerly worked as an assistant manager at Schradzki's in Peoria and Conibear Drug Store in Morton.
Florence was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral Thursday at the church. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Park Lawn Cemetery in Danvers. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
