Franklin G Darnell

Born March 29, 1951 in Fredonia, Kentucky to Franklin William and Thelma Geneva (Donelson) Darnell. He first married Tonya Johnson . He later married Donna Mae Walton on July 4, 1999 in Pekin.

Surviving are his wife; 3 daughters, Rhonda Darnell and Tabitha Darnell, both of Davenport, Iowa, and Deserea Riley of Jacksonville, Arkansas;; 3 sons, Franklin Darnell, Jr. of Davenport, and Adrian Riley and William Riley, both of Jacksonville, Arkansas; 1 step-daughter, Stacy Putnam; 1 step-son, Michael Putnam; 3 grandchildren; 1 brother, Harold Smith of Manito; and 1 sister, Carrie Bell of Truman, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother.

Franklin last worked for ITS Septic Service for 7 years and previously had worked at Millers Scrap Yard for 20 years.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Chuck Grogan will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
