

Born June 22, 1951 in Normal to Harley and Lillian (Wiseman) Weber, he married Valerie Ann Scott on October 16, 1971 in Bloomington. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Amanda J. (Dean) Lievens of Geneseo; two grandsons, Shane A. Lievens and Kyle L. Lievens, both Geneseo; one brother, Ronald (Elen) Weber of Palos Hills; two sisters, Karen (Elio) Francavia of Rome, Italy and Kathy Williams of Bloomington; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Weber of El Paso.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother (Kenny Weber).
Gary was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #1 in Peoria for over 35 years. He had worked for Kroll Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Company in East Peoria and last worked for G & B Heating and A/C in Peoria for the past 2 years, last working Monday.
He was a member and past president of the Peoria Sportsmen's Club in rural Manito.
Gary's passion was fishing. He had participated in many fishing tournaments.
His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Schakat will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Larry's Casting Kids Memorial Account in care of Pekin National Bank, 329 Court Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
