Born May 1, 1966 in Pekin to Layton Jerry and Ruby F. (Spurlock) Layne, she married Ryan Fuller on January 19, 2019 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Ruby Layne of Pekin; one sister, Chris (Peter) Shaw of Pekin; one brother, Steve (Susan) Layne of Manito and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry on September 25, 2018 and one sister, Kathy Layne.
Gerri was a fun loving person who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and getting in the car and just drive.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Doug Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309-2132.
