Gladys L Webb

She was born July 7, 1931 in Corbin, Kentucky to George T. and Nell Francis Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sons, Doug Heady, Donald Heady, Dennis Heady, Curt Heady.

She married the love of her life, Robert Webb Sr. on March 13, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives

Also surviving are one daughter, Mary (Mike) Weller of Farmington; five sons, Richard L. (Betty) Webb of East Peoria, Dennis R. Webb of Peoria, Robert (Diana) Webb, Jr. of Bartonville, Brian Webb of Peoria, Steven (Sherry) Webb of Kentucky; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A waitress for many years, Gladys cared for all who came in contact with her. She also worked at Caterpillar for twelve years retiring in 1993. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the Eagles Club, bowling in leagues, playing cards, camping at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park with her family and traveling to Florida with her husband to visit friends.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
