

He was born March 22, 1964 in Champaign to Jack Everett and Marie Antoinette (Colclasure) Warner. He was preceded in death by his beloved father.
Surviving are his mother, Toni of Heyworth; one daughter, Sarah (Bryan) Foley of Hope Mills, North Carolina; two grandsons, Brage and Emmett; one brother, Jackson Warner of Bloomington, Indiana; two sisters, Amy (Curt) Ware and Leslie Hess, both of Mahomet; one niece, Breckyn; four nephews, Jonathan, Anthony, Parker, and Landon; his significant other, Kathy Westhafer and his faithful and loyal companion, Hank.
Steel had worked AGI Union Iron in Decatur for many years.
A talented and gifted artist, Steel loved drawing and painting, riding his motorcycle and photographing nature. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, woodworking, fishing and being outdoors. Steel will be remembered for his ability to tell a good story, his genuine humor and laughter. His big helpful heart, patriotism, and devout love for the Lord will be never be forgotten.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
