

Born October 5, 1934 in Chicago to Harry E., Sr. and Lillian (Schmidt) Hyman, she married Robert L. Miller on September 25, 1954 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Chicago. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Rev. Mark A. (Debbie) Miller of Pekin and David R. (Kathy) Miller of Marquette Heights; one daughter, Joy E. Miller of Pekin; six grandchildren, Adam Miller, Aaron (Courtney) Miller, Bethany Miller, Christopher Miller, all of Pekin, Douglas King of Marquette Heights, Katie King of Lewistown; one great-granddaughter, Jaylynn Fahnestock; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Kolp of Manteno and June (John) Esposito of Glendale, Arizona and three brothers, Harry E. Hyman, Jr. of Matteson, William (Patricia) Hyman of South Holland and Richard (Arlene) Hyman of Steiger.
Her parents preceded her in death.
A bookkeeper for many years, she had worked for First National Bank and the Merchandise Mart Bank, both in Chicago and for Richardson Printing in Cicero. In later years, she enjoyed babysitting. Harri loved children.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin, where she was a member of the Ladies' Guild. She also served the church as a Sunday school teacher, stewardship committee member and vacation Bible school teacher.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin. The Rev. Glenn R.A. Niemann will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
