Hazel H. Fleming, 84, of Pekin, passed away at 11:21 PM on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at R. L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on May 8, 1934 in Mapleton to John Fredrich and Martha Edna (Siepel) Haynes. She married Raymond LeRoy Fleming on December 27, 1951 in Glasford. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2010 in Pekin. Also preceding her in death were three grandchildren: Christina Michelle Fleming, Katherine Amanda Waddill, and Ron L. Smith; three sisters: Josephine Schmidt, Ethel Pugh and Leona May Haynes; and three brothers: John, Joe, and Edward Haynes.
Hazel is survived by three children: Joe (Laura) Fleming of Yoder, WY; Rhonda Waddill and Johnnie Fleming both of Pekin; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three sisters: Lillian Maddox, Janice Fechter and Elizabeth Rench and two brothers Delmar and Danny Haynes.
She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Pekin. Her family always came first. She enjoyed candy making, bowling, golf, and knitting.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Friends may call upon the family from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Saturday, prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorials may be made to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Pekin, R. L. Owens Hospice Home, or the American Diabetes Association.
