Heather N Armstrong

She was born August 10, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona to Charles and Janet (Scalf) Gruber.

Surviving are her parents, Charles and Janet Gruber of Pekin; one daughter, Kiara Gruber of Pekin; one son, Koltyn Gruber of Pekin; two brothers, Chris (Danielle) Gruber and Chuck (Shayla) Gruber; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Heather worked at TCRC as a Direct Support Person for many years, she cherished her job and the people she served and loved to help those in need.

She enjoyed puzzle books, word searches, adult coloring books, and listening to music. She loved her children dearly and would do anything for them.

Her memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory Pekin.  There will be no services. Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed.  Following the visitation, a celebration of life gathering will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at AMVETS Post 169 in North Pekin.
