

Born December 14, 1930 in Macomb, Illinois to Anthony and Mabel (Huston) Dridos, she married John Adam Gluck on February 18, 1954 in Palmyra, Missouri. He died February 5, 2009 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Louise Roten and one nephew, Daniel Roten.
Surviving are one son, John Anthony “Tony” (Vicki) Gluck of Sun City, Arizona; two grandchildren, Amanda Cathleen Gluck and Kayla Renee Gluck; one great-grandson, Aiden Wittmier and one sister, Martha “Marty” Hopp of Hamilton. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Bob Hopp, Judy (Todd) Harl, Chance & family, Justin & Teryn Weber, Tom, Blake (Maria) Hopp, Bryton Hopp & Family, Brody Hopp & Family, Dave & Chris Hinton and family, Michael (Joyce) Roten, Jeannette (Mike) McManis, Judy (Tommy) Prichett and George (Anna) Roten.
Helen was a graduate of Academy of Our Lady in Peoria.
A homemaker, Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She also enjoyed watching sports on television.
Helen was a longtime member of Trinity Temple in Peoria. She also was a member of Chapter U of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jim Knight will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kingston Mines Cemetery.
