

Born October 31, 1917, to Robert and Maude Knollhoff Hilling of Manito, she married Louis Talbott on October 26, 1939 in Peoria. They lived in Peoria and Decatur, settling in Pekin upon retirement to be close to extended family. After a 63 year marriage, Louis preceded her in death in 2002.
Isabel attended Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated from Bradley University in 1939.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong volunteer for many organizations, including the American Association of University Women and the Pekin Hospital League. She also was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Brownstein (Ivan) of Fort Myers, Florida; Grandson, Adam McDaniel who lives and works worldwide and Great-Grandson Cameron McDaniel of Phoenix, AZ; Granddaughter, Bridgitte Seekins (David) and Great-Grandson Graham Seekins of Los Angeles, CA.
Her visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Private graveside services will follow at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. The Rev. Gary Ford will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, 2075 West First St.—Suite 300, Fort Myers, FL 33901, an advocacy organization for local abused, neglected and abandoned children.
