Jackie Linn Vonboeckman

Born on December 17, 1964, in Pekin, a daughter of Jack and Joyce (Bandy) Clayton who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Daniel VonBoeckman; one sister, Pam Pritchett; and one brother, Glenn Clayton.

Jackie is survived by her significant other of 34 years Tim Himmel and their blended family that adored her. Their children; Kaleigh (Chris Ebbert) Von Boeckman, Alesha Von Boeckman, Amanda (Tommy) Jackson, all of Pekin, and Dustin (Miranda) Himmel of Mackinaw; grandchildren; Anistyn Connor, Alivia (Parker) Watson, Leila and Lillie Tibbs, Kellen and Aliza Jackson, Liam, Ronan and Ezra Himmel, Brodie (Tiffany) and Breven (Macy) Ebbert; great-grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie and Mason; siblings, Cindy Brandt of Pekin, Ricky (Jeanette) Clayton, Bobby Ray Clayton both of North Carolina, and Michelle Dunlap of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Loretta Woods of Pekin; bonus daughter, Trish Ball of Pekin; special niece, Tara (Cory) McKown; nephews, Travis (Kayla) McClanahan, Trent (Christina) McClanahan, Michael Howard, and Nick (Savanah) Clauser; and her beloved dog, Tank.

She was a graduate of Pekin Community High School Class of 1983. Jackie previously worked for Tazewell County before becoming a homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Jackie also loved attending Rock Church with her nephew Mikey on Sundays. She always put her family first and loved to cook and plan family gatherings.

Her memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Pastor Chuck Tate will officiate.
