

Born February 25, 1977 in Normal to William and Nancy (Sederwall) Smalley, he married Crista Yuill on January 19, 2002 in Springfield. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Nancy (Michael) Boucher of Manito; his father, William Smalley, Jr. of the Phillipines; one daughter, Kennedy Smalley of Pekin; two sons, Liam Smalley and Levi Smalley, both of Pekin; two brothers, Bill (Cassie) Smalley, III of Mackinaw and Josh (Amber) Smalley of Abilene, Texas; two sisters, Kathy (Michael) Fryrear of Iliff, Colorado and Kristen (Brian) Winters of Zionsville, Indiana; two half-brothers, Todd Boucher of Greenwood, Indiana and Andrew Smalley; two half-sisters, Tori Boucher of Indianapolis, Indiana and Vanessa Smalley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two step-brothers, Bret (Michelle) Boucher and Jeff (Sharon) Boucher, both of Mackinaw.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Jacob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pekin.
He had been working as a fingerprint technician for Accurate Biometrics out of Chicago.
Jacob cherished the time he spent with his children and was very proud of them. His family was the center of his life. He also enjoyed music, fishing and drawing.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pekin. Bishop Clinton J. Pimcock will preside over the service and Craig Davis will be conducting the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to establish a college fund for Jacob's children.
