

PEKIN ~ James Clark Marshall, 61, of Pekin, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.
Born May 5, 1957 in Peoria to Eugene V. and Elizabeth O. (Dolan) Marshall, he married Deborah Ann Tisdale on October 3, 1999 in Pekin. She passed away April 16, 2005. His parents; sister, Kathleen Milkereit; and twin infant brother and sister also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his step-children, Shannon, Shawn, T.J. and Jeremy; four sisters, Maureen (Dale) Trovillion of Deer Creek, Peggy (Greg) Horchem of Dallas, Texas, Nancy Sisco and Deborah (Billy) Shindledecker, both of Pekin; three brothers, Richard Marshall of Rockford, Eugene (Judy) Marshall of Pensacola, Florida and John Marshall of Pekin; and his uncle, Joe (Dell) Dolan of Peoria. He also leaves numerous step-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
James was of the Catholic faith.
He had worked many years for PepsiCo as a driver, retiring in 2018.
James was an avid poker player and also enjoyed collecting Pepsi memorabilia.
His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin.
