Jane E Bradley

PEKIN- Jane E. Bradley, 77 of Pekin, passed away at 5:44 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born February 6, 1933 in Jefferson City, MO to Morris and Mildred (Steffens) Eberhart, she married Robert Bradley on June 10, 1975 in Pekin. He survives.Also surviving are one son, Greg Robinson of Bloomington; one daughter, Suzanne (Gale) Perkins of Chandler, AZ; one step-son, Bob Bradley of Denver, CO; two step-daughters, Cindy (Mike) Maloney of Pekin, Kathy (Steve) Lawton of Corvallis, OR; four step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Jane is also survived by one sister, Carole (Charles) Cozean of Cape Girardeau, MO and several nieces and nephews.Jane was a music teacher in Missouri, starting out in a one room school house. She taught for twenty years, retiring in 1975. Jane was an avid reader and loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She was a member of the Pekin Hospital League, The Duplicate Bridge Club and Mahjongg Group.She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.Her memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 29 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
